Scheduled Sawyer Certification Classes

Below are the dates for our upcoming certification classes held by our Instructor/Evaluators.  To register for a specific class please use the Sawyer Certification Course Application below the different dates below.  If there is no class listed, please select the "Any Class" option.  Once you fill out the online application you will be contacted about getting certified.

• March 4, 2025, Classroom, March 6, field certification.  1246 Shelly St.SW., Olympia, WA  98512.  Instructor: Tony Karniss.  tkarniss@gmail.com/(360) 520 5697

• March 22, 2025, Field training and certification for Blues Crew members who finished classroom training.  8:00am at Buck Creek Work Center, Umatilla Forks. Instructor: Larry Wachtel, walkman529@live.com/509-730-0269

•  April 4 - 6, 2025, 2142 Cispus Rd, Randle, WA at 8:00am.  Instructor: Tony Karniss.  Chainsaw Certification and Recertification. Camping area or bunkhouse.  Friday and Saturday evening meals provided.     tkarniss@gmail.com

• THIS CLASS IS FULL April 26th & 27th, Enumclaw, WA Key Bank basement, 1212 Cole St.  Lead Instructor: Gary Zink, gary_zink@hotmail.com, Instructor: Tom Faubion.  This is a 2-day certification: Day 1 Classroom, Day 2 field trip evaluations at Dalles CG, Hwy 410.

• January 25, 2025 Middle Fork Snoqualmie. Instructor: Gary Zink, gary_zink@hotmail.com. Pratt Connector trail crosscut saw logout and rigging training from Gateway Br downstream as far as we can get by 2 pm. Contact Gary for directions if needed. Bring warm work clothing and hard hat.
